Born and raised in the piney woods of Northeast Texas, Jennifer Lee understands small-town values. As the daughter of an oil field worker and first-generation college graduate, Jennifer knows change only comes through hard work, grit, and determination.

After graduating from Baylor University in 2007, Jennifer spent years working with survivors of domestic violence before being called to pursue her passion, education. With unwavering support from her friends and family, Jennifer became a public school teacher.

13 years later, Jennifer is still fighting for safe, equitable education for all students. As a single mother and youth athletic coach, Jennifer lives by the Rita Wilson quote, “Every child deserves a champion,” and for the children of District 55, Jennifer Lee will be that champion.
